Using Hair Adhesive Remover For Bonded Weave Styles Prevents Breakage

By Brenda Evans

A lot of people have misconceptions on how to care for hair when they wear extensions or a wig for an extended period of time. They may wash and condition the piece but neglect what they were born with. One common reason is not knowing how to remove a lacefront wig or pieces of hair without damage. Using a hair adhesive remover that is compatible with the type of glue used can result in less breakage.

There are many ways to add extra strands and using bond glue is better than excess heat or threading, which can cause damage when done extensively. Most operators may choose this when natural mane is thick or too thin for clip in extensions. This adhesive is also recommended for lacefront wigs, which tend to look more natural than styles from the past.

If a person does not have an extremely thick mane, a lacefront wig may be the answer. Many of these look natural when a good bonding glue is used. Even extremely short cuts can be hard to detect when the right application is utilized. Some people will go the extra mile by choosing human hair over synthetic. However, the removal of most lacefront wigs is not for amateurs.

It also helps to keep dry strands moisturized between applications. There is more to this than applying a greasy cream or heavy oil. Unless there are extreme weather conditions, these can actually clog the pores and seldom penetrate the shaft so that it is hydrated. A lot of people find that natural products work best, as they absorb quickly and are affordable.

When extremely thin or coarse strands have been bonded, it is best to have a professional remove the weave or track. For one, they can see what is happening to the scalp and how the strands react when the remover is attached. Anyone who wears a lacefront wig and has preexisting scalp damage should do the same.

Clip in extensions can be the best solution for those who are in the process of restoring their former mane glory. This method allows the scalp to breathe but like the bonding method, it is best to have a professional remove these. If this is not possible use an adhesive remover as directed so that the scalp can be cleaned and conditioned properly.

Now, there are different strengths on the market and manufacturers usually makes their own patented formulas. Many are intended for dry textures or those in need of additional strand and scalp moisturizing. Although not all brands are made the same, it is effectiveness that matters.

When it comes to having fun with hair, the possibilities are limitless. Anyone that has short blonde natural can have a flowing auburn red mane that is past their shoulders. At the same time, people that do not want to commit to colors can change from hot pink to pastel green to violet blue as they please.
