Five Recommended Balding Solutions Including Highend Men Shampoo

By Brian Scott

Take a time and think about all the elderly men you ve seen in the past, how many of them had hair covering the scalp fully? Chances are, they were only a few of them. Most of them were either hairless at the top or front of the scalp. Studies have shown that out of 5 men over 50 years of age, 4 are suffering from hair thinning. There are balding solutions and Highend men shampoo currently being used by those with pattern baldness.

There are 2 types of scientifically proven medication which can be used to slow down or solve the baldness issue, vasodilators and antiandrogens. An example of a vasodilator is Minoxidil Topical, it widens the blood vessels and thus promotes hair growth. This medication can be found in a form of a gel, solution or foam and it is to be applied to the affected area on the scalp. As soon as a person stops applying it on the scalp, hair loss will commence again.

It doesn t work for everyone, a few people s hair thinning condition got worse after using it. Many see positive results, however, there might be other side effects. Its common side effects include: swelling of legs, burning scalp, and unwanted unavoidable growth of hair on places like the face and the legs. Less than 1% of people using this suffer from heart malfunctions and mental disorders like depression and anxiety as side effects of taking the medication.

Men with pattern baldness have an excessive amount of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in their body, this hormone is responsible for reducing the efficiency of hair follicles. So, the second solution to baldness is to reduce DHT in the blood by using a medication called Finasteride, it can be used as either a pill or an injection. This too is a temporary solution and has to be taken constantly. Finasteride and Minoxidil Topical are sold at some pharmacies.

Testosterone and DHT are the hormones that distinguish a man from a woman. So when the quantity of DHT is reduced, men may suffer from things like lack of libido and the inability to hold an erection long enough to be able to have sexual intercourse. Furthermore, their breasts may develop and start to enlarge and be tender. One other side effect that may be caused by Finasteride is body rash.

There are other side effects that may last or develop even after discontinuing to take Finasteride. Male breast cancer may result because of the changes that occurred on the breasts during the intake. Others experience psychiatric disorders like depression. In unfortunate occurrences, male infertility may result.

Taking medication every day can be tiring, so some people opt for surgery. Others prefer hair transplants whereby hair follicles from a healthy area of the scalp are transferred to the affected area to stimulate growth. Others prefer to reduce the size of the scalp through surgery. The latter s main disadvantage is the scar that is formed afterward.

The last solution is to wear synthetic hair like wigs and natural looking hairpieces. It is the only solution that does not have the potential of causing adverse effects on the user s body and health.
