Most Find The Best Natural Looking Lashes Are Better Than Popular Mascara Brands

By Steven Powell

Most people want to present the best look possible and for most women, this means investing in the best cosmetic products. While some can afford to cut a corner or two, this can backfire on some people. Eye makeup, along with products made to improve skin texture, is one area that is often up for debate. Some people swear by inexpensive brands and others feel the premium brands give the best results. Others may feel that some things are best left to the professionals, like the best natural looking lashes.

While few will indulge their everyday secrets, some brands will imply in the media that a celebrity wears their brand. Another sales tactic is to say that their product will achieve the same look for a fraction of the cost. Most people who wear cosmetic products knows that spending a fortune is not necessary to look good.

There are some brands that are popular and affordable, the application can be tricky for those who have faint or thinning lashes. It is easy to add too much, which causes the hairs to stick together, and removal can take some time. On the other hand, newer products that are priced a little higher may require more than one step and sometimes it may work too good.

In other words, no one wants to spend up to an hour removing mascara that lasts throughout the day. Some users complain that flaking is often a problem with less expensive brands or they have to apply the product throughout the day. For those that work for a living, it is impossible to run to the bathroom every hour or so to rinse eyes or reapply.

Another reason why some think false eyelashes are a waste of time is that they looked phony. Anyone who has seen album covers or fashion magazine from half a century ago will see that heavy eye makeup was a trendy look. While it may look fun, it is not hard to see that getting this look, or a modernized version, takes a lot of time that the regular working person does not have.

One reason why the eyelash trend did not remain popular for everyday wear is the application. Back in the day, if they were easy to apply, this normally meant the set was extremely thick or long. While individual lashes looked more natural, these took time and a lot of patience to apply. Eventually, these got downgraded from weekend wear to occasional wear to becoming a thing of history.

Another thing about lashes from the past was the application, as glues could be messy and adhesives were a work in progress. Many women of today can probably recall their mothers having to check their eyelashes throughout the day and making adjustments as needed. Modern technology makes it where a small amount goes a long way and no one needs heavy liner or shadow to disguise glue

What a lot of people like about the new lashes is that they can be worn alone. Also, there is no messy adhesive to deal with during application or removal. The cut is very natural and there is no need to double or add mascara for a dramatic effect. A lot of the new lashes last longer than a tube of the latest lengthening product and once applied, these will last for hours.
