Hygiene activities such as flossing and brushing are harder to perform effectively. This can lead to other issues such as bad breath which can have adverse effects on the individuals esteem.

Even for those impacted sets that seem problem proof provide an ideal breeding ground for inflammations and oral infections. Ignoring such issues can lead to further health issues such as development of diseases like diabetes, stroke and cardio vascular illness.

In conclusion, it is absolutely necessary to seek the intervention of an oral specialist in the event that third molar eruption occurs and causes some extent of discomfort. However if the molars are healthy, properly positioned and functional, removal is not necessary.
